The Sofa / A moments decision changes the course of your life...

So I am recently back from holiday in Barcelona where I spent 5 days with an amazing Romanian girl (ex-model) I was seeing here in England until she moved back to Romania. As she moved back we thought we would take the opportunity while we are both single to carry on visiting each other and meet up in other countries for adventures i.e. Barcelona.
On one of the nights there we went to a flamenco club and while I was watching the intense dancing there, everything just hit me... Here I am in a random flamenco club, in the middle of Barcelona with an amazing girl next to me all because in that moment when I saw her come out of the supermarket on my way back from the gym I made that split second decision to run back and approach her. Because of that action I took in that moment it made my life go off in another direction.
It seems so strange to think and almost scary that what if I didn?t approach? What if I just carried on walking like 99% of other guys would do? I would never have met this amazing girl, I wouldn?t have experienced these awesome adventures and both of our lives would have taken another course. Instead of sitting right there with her in Barcelona I would probably just be sat at home getting ready for work the next day. I think about everything I would have missed out on and it makes me so grateful that I found this community, the help of the instructors at daygame.com and it makes me so proud in myself that I was the one that took action and made this happen! Not only did I change the course of my life, but hers as well!
Let?s be realistic here, most of the approaches we do will not result in something as solid as this as even if we get a lay there is a good chance it may not lead to much more (unless you really want to keep on seeing her) not forgetting that most approaches may not actually go anywhere but the times they do it makes everything soooo worthwhile
I now think of each approach as a door. When you open one you have the potential there to have a whole type of different experiences that you would not have had if you didn?t open it. This could be from just gaining that new reference experience of a new approach to the possibility of your life now going off in a different direction.
It is up to each one of us to spread our wings, grow as people and gain all the experiences we want in life. I realize now more than ever how important it is to take ACTION as you never know what could happen.
So the next time a girl walks past and you don?t approach, just think- what might I be missing out on?

p.s. As I am on the topic of gaining new experiences I am off for some daygame adventures this summer for anyone who wants to join or if anybody is based in the cities. I will be in Copenhagen and Oslo from July 11- 21st and then Helsinki and Tallinn in August
