The Sofa / Yellow fever is a 'bad thing'?

**  I live in America and here 'Asian' refers to Japan, China, Philipines etc so we are gonna use that definition in this thread.  **

I have noticed that there seems to be a sort of resentment by Asian girls for guys who have 'Yellow Fever'. I have heard more than one say it is creepy or weird or even call it a "fetish".  I open the table to discuss - Why? How is that weird? If we as humans have preferences than why is that a bad thing? And then how to deal with it? There are a ton of Asian girls here in Las Vegas and if I as a white guy am seen running in Asian circles or only with Asian girls then may that give me a bad reputation? Or do most people have open minds like me and not see it as such?

Or am I just thinking too much?

Self Perception (Inner Game) / Toastmasters

Hey guys. I hear a lot of talk about being scared to talk to girls and all this AA and such. May I make a suggestion?
Join up with Toastmasters.
Here's why- At Toastmasters it is not just a place where they teach you to be a better speaker infront of large auditoriums of people though that certainly can be learned but it is also about learning to be comfortable in smaller groups and even one on one situations...like in Daygame.
Here's how- The very first speech you give is, if memory serves, 3 minutes about you. Yes, it is you introducing you to the group. Should be easy but for many it is not. Still it is a good foundation for the following exercise: Speak for 60 second about ________ . (Where _____ is a random topic chosen by the Toastmaster.) That is a very strong and powerful exercise. Imagine it when an uber hottie asks what you think about horses. Go! Talk for a bit about horses. See? Certainly not as easy as it may sound but there are techniques to help out even if you know absolutely nothing about horses.  :)
