Yad stop is very effective. I actually used it on a first day of work when a service user (with learning disabilities, who tend to be more instinctual) I help was wondering off. He stopped right away.

And yes it has worked for me with numerous girls too.

And there I was hoping we'd be discussing Heidegger...  ;)

But no fair enough points I suppose. I might say sorry to a woman if I trod on her foot though...

White City is in West London. Never knew it was also called Zobeide...

This is my sticking point right now, so looked up some Hayley Quinn as she goes into it quite a bit anyway. Kind of looking forward to tomorrow so hopefully get a number or two and get a little practice.

I actually have to admit I really love the American accent on really beautiful women. I'm not sure its what I'd call sexy, but there's often something slightly sweet about it to me for some reason. There are quite a few nice American girls in London anyway though.

I will actually be honest. One girl did blank me the other day. Rather than let it worry me, I just shrugged and smiled and walked on. Apparently Katy Perry was about that day on the 'pink carpet' in Leicester Square. In retrospect I probably should have waited for her. Haha.

Seriously though that is the worst reaction I have had from a girl so far and of the approaches I have done, that was only the second time of many. The fact is, if you do approach girls, you will soon start to realise that most of them are nice, so long as you don't act like a prick or use stupid pick up lines, which I'm sure you won't.

Come to Saturday Sarge. Maybe it'll help you to be around other men of the same interests, and don't worry you won't be pressured into approaching girls either.

I'm not going to dispute that it can work anywhere as my first 'daygame approach' was actually in a village. However I think the big city has more scope for practice and is less likely to cause you to get a reputation if you're seen doing it a lot as its likely you'll never see most of the people again anyway.

Manchester is a great city. No idea how it is for Daygame, but may try some out when I go to see some friends up North soon (I live in London right now, but lots of friends down in Manchester)

Is there not a big city nearby that you could commute to?

Either that or do what I did and save up to move to the big city.

I don't think its a big deal, especially these days. The world is going through problems with the economy and house prices are going through the roof! Even rent is not cheap these days, so living with your parents is not, in my opinion, a big deal. I myself do have my own room, but was living with my mum for a bit. Sometimes it is just a matter of personal circumstances and not worth worrying about.

My philosophy is this: if a girl REALLY likes you, she won't care anyway.

Today I was in Kensington/Chelsea and saw a vicar on a bike, so said in a loud cheery voice:

"Hello vicar!"

He was a tad confused but smiled and waved back.
