Good D2 ideas: London
« on: April 12, 2011, 07:30:12 PM »
Ok, I've just started getting to the stage where I'm getting Day 2s. After # closing a girl today, she has sent me a text saying "let me know when you have a place and a time in mind for an adventurous trip"

Question is... what suggestions do you guys have? Try to be specific about places (ie. don't say "take her for a coffee" but "hey, there's this really old coffee shop in X called Y, which is really cool because of Z")

An idea that I had: One of my passions is swing dancing (hence Charleston) and I was thinking maybe it would be fun to have a lesson of it if she has never done it before. However, I can see disadvantages about this (it can be quite imposing to beginners, not much time to get to know someone, not too close to my house). Opinions?

i dont think you should put such emphasis on the D2 because it may be too much, i would recommend and art gallery so you can actually talk and maybe move to a starbucks see who can drink a slushy without getting a brain freeze haha and a walk in the park. so you can talk properly and have fun at the same time also the different places can be natural and almost spontaneous so theres less pressure on any of you, plus moving to different locations will make it seem longer and NOT at all boring. Good luck man :)

I like the art gallery idea.
I once read somewhere that taking a chick on a biplane ride is an awesome date.
Probably quite pricey but I always liked the idea.

Don't make a big deal out of the day two. Don't think of it as a date just "hanging out" etc...

I would recommend just looking on websites like Time Out which give loads of interesting things to do in London.

This is the link to their Cafe page if you're interested - http://www.timeout.com/london/restaurants/features/6361/London-s_best_cafes_and_coffee_shops.html
