Fed up of the same places?
« on: May 17, 2012, 03:18:42 PM »
Alot of you London daygamers probably wont have experienced this because London is so massive, but daygaming in Manchester can be quite difficult for me, the only place good for daygame is around the town centre bit, and because i work part time i go there often on weekdays solo and i get fed up of walking around the same area. Usually Ill knock about for about 4 hours and end up doing laps of the daygame hotspots, Ive managed to do 3 direct approaches so far but just as things started looking up I hit this brick wall. Once i've warmed up and in state im already fed up of the same spots. I already know the answer to my problem i need to branch out into nearby cities like Liverpool or local towns, just wondering whether anyone else has this problem? As I said above I dont think London daygamers will have this  because there is an abundance of daygame locations there because its huge. Im trying to get out there as much as I can but end up 'milking' the locations, in the same way sitting in the same office at the same table and same seat everyday can begin to demotivate you. Its not a case of worrying about other people seeing me everyday it genuinely is being bored of the same spots because there is nowhere else to daygame, its like it takes the Spontaneous fun edge away from me. Any tips from anyone who has been through similar things?

It is but the large majority of it is housing or council flats, the actual town centre which is the only place for daygame is tiny in comparison to London's. We have an oxford road but its nothing on oxford street ours has a few kebab shops on it and a few other food related places two starbucks and a uni and thats about it.

Well im still getting used to approuching so im  doing street approuches asking for directions to warm up and then moving on to direct approuches, mainly i hang about on deansgate and outside the arndale shopping centre stopping for a coffee or food.

Focus on opening anywhere and everywhere. How far  have you got so far then in one of your approaches?

Not too bad, first approuch she smiled and was blushing, second said loved it said i had made her day and gave me a hug third completely blanked me haha these were all on different days. I was beginning  to see progress  until i started getting fed up of doing laps around the same places for hours every day, like today for example i was going to go and the thought of walking around the same old spots seemed worse then the thought of approuching.
Whenever i hit somewhere new or unfamilair i get a sense of stepping into the unknown which helps push me into a good state.

Ok so the first smiled and blushed, then what? Did it die after that?

Ok cool. Just open lots of girls, even ones you aren't that attracted to, then concentrate on staying in set for longer. If you open lots of people, you prob won't even have time to think about being in the same places. But obviously you don't want to linger around the exact same spot for hours. But you should be able to walk round for a good half hour without coming back to the same place

I know how you feel mate, I live in a small city and I hit the same places everyday on my lunch break, I have been doing it quite a while now so I can sometimes feel a lack of inspiration when out and about in the same places.

I would say to try and not focus on the actual area you are in. Just focus on the girls you see. I find I might not be 'feeling' it that day but once I see a hottie I want to approach- thats all the inspiration I need to feel good inside me and then approach. Anyway, summer is just round the corner which makes daygame even more enjoyable as much more beautiful girls will be out and about ;)

One other thing you could try is to not wander around for as long. Say for example you do 10 approaches in 4 hours. Try and do 10 approaches in 2 hours so you aren't out for as long.

To be honest, if you are this new to it im surprised you feel this way already!

Hope this helps though. :)

I'm from a small city, though did actually live in Saddleworth for a bit so I do kind of know Manchester. It is big enough in my opinion, and besides your idea of going to other nearby towns and cities isn't a bad one. I did my first daygame approach in Manchester actually (well Uppermill), but that was before I was aware of 'game' (sadly packed it in shortly afterwards until I heard about sites like this).

I wouldn't say the city centre is that small, there are a fair few interesting side streets and lots of places to look around, same with Birmingham (don't like that city much but can't deny what it can offer). But I cannot deny that I do like the many different locations to explore in London and that you can move from one area to another.

If nothing else, if you get bored of Manchester, you could always do as I do and basically save up some money and then relocate to somewhere more vibrant, be it London or another city which appeals to you.
