Damage Control!!
« on: May 10, 2012, 05:51:31 AM »
I went on a date with this girl the other day. The date went good so I invited her to join me for dinner the next day. We scheduled everything that night, she said she might have to work (waitress) so she would let me know. Fast forward to the next day, and at around 6 she hadn't texted me yet. I wait until seven and text her "are you planing on going?" she doesn't answer me until two hours later saying that we had forgotten and had already ate. I didn't text her back because I was busy at the time. At around midnight she texts me again saying that she is sorry. I haven't answered back because I don't know what to do in this situation. Should I just be cool and say no worries or should I pretend to be mad (I'm not mad because I ended up having a good time still)?

Does anyone know any good things to say for a situation like this? When a girl bails on you and then apologizes? Or if she bails in general?

I dont think pretending to be mad would be the best idea, just show her you aren't affected by it.

Just schedule another date and you could add some extra playfulness to it by saying something like its cool she forgot but she has to buy the first round of drinks when you meet again. :) Something simple like that.

Bro... Thank you so much lol

I didn't only want to say its all right because I didn't want to seem like a AFC. But I didn't want to be mad because she would totally be in control and would be hard for me to schedule another date.

Being playful an teasing her about it is the way to go!
