How to salvage the situation if possible

I went on a date on wednesday with a girl who was easily a solid 9. The comfort and building rapport went very well, I used Andys question and statement loop and let her do most of the investing however I definitely didnt project my value enough and didnt banter or use humour as much as I normally do. The day after I did something a bit stupid, I texted her and asked if she wanted to meet up on saturday should have definitely waited a few days longer. I havent got a reply and to be honest doubt I will get one now. I assumed that because we were on a date I had the attraction side covered and could get by with just rapport, a foolish error on my part. Anyway I am willing to move on and look at it as a learning experience and find someone else but at the same time I dont have anything to lose by trying to resurrect the situation. Is there any advice anyone can give?

Well its cool you have already learnt from it as now you know for next time that you should of kept the playfull/banter side of things going while at the same time as getting to know her.

When it comes to salvaging the situation I would maybe wait a day or two since you text her last and just text her something funny- some sort of statement, maybe refering back to something funny you both talked about. Dont ask any type of question, as a statement alone shows you are completely free of outcome/non-needy as you are not looking for a reply back in anyway.

I recently heard a podcast with Sasha daygame and Rob Judge where they said if a girl turns flakey all you have to do sometimes is give the girl time and stop pushing for it. Go meet other girls then in a week or two maybe text her again as situations can change as well as her mind.

So I would say shoot her a funny value giving text and if you still dont hear anything, relax and come back to it in a week or two.

Something funny happened on the date. The bar took orders and brought drinks round, afterwards I said you know we can probably leave without paying. I said it as a joke and then she said "ok im going to pretend im on my phone, try not to look suspicious" then we casually walked out and then ran to the train station laughing. A great way to end the date. This could be a shit test to make sure I am not needy or possibly the 2nd text put her off as it may have been needy. I texted the next day and said "assuming you havent been arrested do you fancy meeting up saturday afternoon. Im going Westfield to get a few bits and was thinking we could meet up for coffee and some lunch". The date could have gone better but I assume it was solid enough to get another date as she seemed happy at the end of it. I was thinking I should wait until monday and text something like "OMG the police finally caught you . I hope you hold up well under interrogation."
