I've decided for sure to move down to LA this summer, and thought I'd throw a line out to the cool ppl on here-the plan is July, but other than that I don't know too much more. I'm
hoping to find some work before I move which would obviously at least be a consideration for what area I'd wanna live in, but there's a very good chance that I'm just not going to get a job before July, and honestly I'm willing to drive further to work if that means I'm in a better place to live/party. So...
I'm very generally starting to look for 1-2 (maybe even 3) roommates in some cool area in LA. My initial leans:
-
Hollywood has been a ton of fun with AoC & I feel like I'm beginning to know the area & people
-
Downtown-I've liked my somewhat limited experiences there
-
Santa Monica or another beach area-Could also be a lot of fun, & part of why I'm moving to SoCal is to be close to the beach
-Other areas: Like I've said, I'm very open to ideas at this point
About me: I'd like to think I'm up there with the coolest white boys with
legit gangsta leans around-I don't even have to fake that shit!

I'm 25, a year-long Art of Charm student, love to party, working seriously on a career in sports broadcasting or some other electronic media/event related field, and coming to LA from Oregon largely for the sun & to see where things take me and what direction(s) I want to go...and yes, I like to party! I do have financial backing & have never had issues paying the bills FYI.
Price range: I've been paying a little over $1,000 (US) living solo in a 1BR for the first time and I'm hoping to be spending at least a little less with roommates in LA.
It'd be awesome to find a roommate or two who is/are likeminded and can motivate each other in all areas of life. If you're looking for roommates in LA this summer or have ideas for me, hit me up!
**PS-the gangsta lean joke is probably funnier when you meet me. I am disabled & walk w/a limp, but am learning to embrace it & have a blast w/it!**
