Office environment Day Game
« on: April 10, 2012, 11:20:03 PM »
Hi I work in a large corporate office environment and there are always hot women around, either making a coffee for themselves, sitting at a desk typing, walking around to grab lunch, etc.

My problem is that I am scared if I apply my day game skills and go approach a woman in the office using the direct day game approach, I might get reported or in trouble for trying to "pick up" chicks at work.

So my question is: How would picking up women in an office differ to on the street using the Day Game model? There is no way in hell I am going do the Yad stop in the middle of an office LOL. Anyone here have experience in this area?

This is something that was not covered in the Day Game Blue print. I was hoping this question would have been covered by now in the podcasts but it has not, hence the reason for me finally creating an account on this forum and posting. Am sure there will be other guys facing this issue. Please help us.  Seeing hot single women in the office every day and not doing anything about it is killing me!

Cheers guys

If you like your job, don't do it. Women can report you for the tiniest thing. If you don't care about your job, then approach but be prepared for the awkwardness if the direct approach doesn't go well.

Thanks for your reply archer1000. You are right in the sense that there is a risk of getting into serious trouble if approaching women in the office and they report you for doing it.

I would have thought a situational opener would be better then direct in the office as to ease the approach and then maybe follow with the rest of the day game modal from making statements. Problem is how do I do a situational opener if she just walking around? I would probably do a work email close at end of interaction as well, so I can probably add her to office communicator IM and stay in contact and then probably ask through IM/email lets grab a quick coffee from canteen and take it from there as normal.

Above all I would not want to get fired in these troubled recession times. Still keen to here what the day game team has to say about this one.

Yeah, its just social intuition not to go direct in those situations.

Sure go situational, or you could just do something as simple as saying "Hi, I don't think we have met yet". If it goes well you could casually see if she wants to join you for a coffee on lunch/beak.

If you work in a small firm, where everyone works together, then the simple answer is DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! Everyone will know about you, no matter what you do/say. As Archer1000 said, why risk your job over some good looking girl, who you don't know, when there are probably a dozen more outside, who you can approach at lunchtime!? Thats the beauty of daygame, approaching girls anytime, anyplace.
If you work for a big multi national company, with several office buildings/departments, then the risk is lower, so you could follow Rob's advice. Just be warned that even then, if someone who you know/knows her, spots you both in Starbucks, you still potentially face having your personal life emailed around the firm! If you know the girl and like her and your looking for a long term girl friend then I could understand you doing it, but if it's just to have a fun, casual fling then why risk your career prospects!?

Peace,
