girls stopped at cross walk
« on: April 08, 2012, 05:49:34 AM »
ok im sure this sounds dumb like im over thinking things but here it is. all the girls i approach durring the day are either moving and i do that with the yad stop or sitting down. ive aproached girls that were stationary before when they were in a store or some kind of environment like that but today i ran into a couple obstacles. a couple of the girls i was going to do the yad stop on ended up stopping at the stop light and waiting for there turn to walk across and i had no idea what i should have done. so i guess my main question is would you wait for them to cross before approaching them just so you can yad stop them or do you think approaching them while they are stopped at the light is ok. i feel like it would have low expectations because as soon as the light changes than she might feel obligated to start walking again and you could lose the set

Good question! I think it doesn't matter, both options are possible: you can stop her at the traffic light or when she already crossed the street. Also, I'm just imagining, if she's at the traffic light, and you approach her you would be standing on the dangerous street :P. But if you had to choose, I guess I would also wait for her to have crossed the street - then approach.

yeah thats how i felt about it too. the wierd thing is that is what i did today and it was just funny cause i was following this girl waiting for a good opportunity to open up to approach her and then shes stopped at the stoplight and i just stood like 10 feet behind her and waited till she crossed the street to approach her haha. i just felt like maybe i should have done it at the stop light but gues youre right when it comes down to it, it doesnt really matter

;)

The advantage of waiting for her to cross are for example, more relaxed vibe, safety (traffic), and I can imagine the switching traffic light and people waiting and crossing, can create some kind of 'nervous' environment. But again, nothing is impossible!

Maybe it's just me but waiting for her to cross seems a bit stalkerish.

In my experience, that "stalker-ish" feeling you get doing things like standing and waiting for her to cross the street before approaching exists only in your head.  Not hers or anyone else's.  Catch yourself getting into these thought patterns and remind yourself: women absolutely love being approached.
