my daygame resolution - one you should all consider
« on: January 09, 2012, 09:50:35 PM »
I have been slipping back towards inaction lately and been passing up opportunities and i'm sick of it. So my resolution is two-fold. An approach a day and also I will not post/browse this forum on any days where i do not achieve this. I feel a hypocrite reading or posting when i havent approached days. So yeah, that's my resolution.

Anyone else in on that ?

I'm in. However, let's go for THREE approaches a day.

I've resolved to stop posting on the Main Forum, and just to concentrate in updating and posting up my own infield reports and on others I may be able to help.

Lux old boy, dont stop posting - Your shit is gold. Well i doubt it is, otherwise you'd be a rich, rich man, and something of a medical curiousity, but you catch my drift. Three is great, thing is i find once i have got the first one done then i usually will go on to more. So the one is the minimum, the starting point,  just to get the pissy-little-weiner-monkey off my back and keep me ticking over.

Also i am a busy man these days and i want to set a reasonable target to start with. A good day may see 5, but as long as i hit 1 i'm happy for now. My goal is that doing this shit isnt something I consciously set out to do, more that it becomes totally natural and congruent to my personality in my day to day life. If you will be so good as to excuse a brief detour to Zen-land, a kind of daygame action without action.

Okay-dokey, I will follow your progress with a jeweler's eyepiece :)

No, I won't stop posting, as long as people don't get sick of the motormouth rantings of a self-confessed braggadoccio with a Rooney Mara obsession.

I've been getting pretty slack lately actually - was thinking that only today. I don't think I can accomplish an approach a day because of work logistics, but at least maybe every day I have free time.

Having said that, I am texting a girl I met over half a year a go via Daygame, who has suddenly got back in touch unexpectedly. She did once use the boyfriend excuse when I suggested meeting up again, only to start texting me again a few weeks later. Sadly she lives in Southampton while I am now in the West Midlands, but maybe at least a lay can come of it, and if it doesn't then so be it. It is however a good piece of evidence as to why you should not delete phone numbers!
