This happens quite a lot when I open in a shop or supermarket...even with hired guns.

* You see a hot girl in a shop looking at the clothes rack in Top Shop or the shelves in Tesco/Boots.
* You stand next to her shoulder-to-shoulder and open her direct.
* She responds OK and you turn to shake her hand and introduce yourself. You continue talking.
* BUT she still hasn't turned away from what she was doing to face you. In fact she's still fiddling about pretending she's still looking for that size 8 or stick of celery.

She's not freaked out, she's still responding to you and smiling - she just hasn't turned to face you yet and stop what she were doing cos she's probably a little nervous. Question is, what can you do to make her turn to face you?

One thing I do is a slightly back-turn her (with my back to the merchandise) in an attempt to lessen the pressure she might be feeling so she will feel more relaxed about turning to face me. In effect I'm making her compensate for my back-turn...I guess its a physical break in rapport which baits her into physically investing.

I would say focus on good eye contact to draw her in, as well as just give her a bit more time to get comfortable with the situation.

If that still doesn't work then.......... get your cock out :D

I guess its a more subtle version of her playing with her phone while your trying to talk to her. Usually if a girl is looking anywhere but me when I'm talking I call it out and she stops but in this situation she's only doin it cos she's nervous and not really being rude so it feels a bit knobbish to call her out on it.

If this is happening a lot, then it's a signal that your "capture" bit of daygame (attention snap, compliment) is not 100% solid.

Shy, maybe, but in my experience it means something's wrong...she didn't "get" the opener.

Some pointers to try:
* super strong eye contact (soft) combined with a cheeky smile
* s.l.o.w your voice down and watch out for inflections
* don't pause between compliment and statement - captivate her with your story about her

Hope that helps,

TT
